About Hvalreki Media

Hvalreki Media was founded in 2014 by Jasper Lown as an alias under which to publish creative works. The choice of the name "Hvalreki" stems from Jasper's fascination with the Icelandic language.

The Team

Jasper Lown

Jasper is the founder and principal content creator for Hvalreki Media. He started making short films at a young age. In 2009, he began applying his skills competitively. Since then, Jasper has entered over 50 video contests and his work has garnered the attention of such companies and organizations as the American Bar Association, National Safety Council, American Sleep Medicine Foundation, and Alcohol Justice.

Brandon Lown

Brandon is the organizational guru of Hvalreki Media. He wears the hat of producer, casting director, and unit production manager, among others, depending on the needs of a production. When paperwork is not in hand, Brandon contributes to the creative decisions of productions as well.
